Bart's Final Words: doc/32Kb
Biography
My
name is Bart Mullin and I am a 15 year old high school student
in desperate search of a job. I currently live in Rutland, Vermont
and have resided here my entire life. In my spare time I enjoy
many outdoor activites such as snowboarding, mountain biking,
soccer, skiing, tennis, & white water rafting. While I enjoy
the outdoors, I also have other hobbies that include singing
and acting.
During
my long days spent at school I participate in activites such
as band, student council, Key Club, and an upcoming musical.
I maintain good grades and are involved in all honor level classes.
But...don't stereotype me as the bookworm who stays inside all
day studying, I am far from it. I come from a typical American
family, somewhat. My mother is a nurse and my father is a politician.
I have one brother who will be graduating high school this school
year. Excluding humans I also live with two rats, one hampster,
and a crazed dachshund.
In
2000 I was diagnosed with a cancer in my leg. After extensive
tests and many hours spent in the hospital...I actually didn't
have cancer, rather a stress fracture of the femur. I have been
told that this was the first time any doctor in my area had
seen such a case and that my X-rays and other medical tests
are currently being used for study. One thing I would say that
would be my biggest accomplishment was the opportunity I was
given the past two summers to work with underpriviledged children
with family, behavioral, and/or learning problems. I taught
them the basics to using the computer, basic Spanish, and worked
on several science projects with them. This was an experience
that really changed the way I view others in my life.
In
the future I plan to go to college and study veterinary medicine
or psychology. I'm currently taken and have been dating my girlfriend
Kaitlynn since January of 2003. My birthday is May 21st.
I'm
very excited to be chosen as one of the lucky persons who get
to play this excellent game. I look forward to every aspect,
and you will be seeing a lot of me...hopefully. I describe myself
as a competitive individual who is willing and daring to do
just about any task given. While I may appear to be that perfect
student, I do have a bad side to myself. I'm just a red-headed
hick from a small town in the least populated state in the U.S.
I don't see much diversity, and therefore I tend to stereotype
others. I'd have to say I have more bad qualities than good.
Overall, I'm an adrenaline freak who thrives on living on the
edge. The bigger the risk, the better the feeling of accomplishment.
