Another Update! (Bought Damn Time!)

August 16th - Aloha friends and followers of Survivor Webcam. I'm not even sure how to start this off anymore. I'm running on no sleep and I'm on my lunch break at work at a loss for words, yet dying to get something written down, so I shall try. Bear with me, for I probably make no sense :-D. First of all, I would like to congratulate the final four for making it this far. That's a huge accomplishment and it brings each and every one of you one step closer to reaching sole survivor status. Bravo to you all. I myself have been in your position before and while it's very rewarding it's also very stressful. I imagine the next 10 days will be even more of an emotional rollercoaster than you're probably ready for. You four have accomplished so much already, but in doing so you have made tight bonds along the way. Forget those bonds. They can't help you anymore. Every man for himself. Two of you will be gone in the next 10 days. Sad, but true. What a let down to make it so far and then be voted out, but I'm sure whoever has to go will leave with their fond memories of the game and walk out with their head held high.

Next up, remember to WORK HARD. It's easy to forget that there are two IC's left when most of your worrying is probably about survival. Even if you flew under the radar the entire game, now is NOT the time to slack. Your friendships may have helped you before, but I imagine the people who helped keep you in got themseleves voted out in the process. There are no more shields to hide behind. Be careful. Work to your full potential. Time and effort is everything in this game, and by now your only chance to fully secure your survival is to win immunity, plain and simple. Have faith in yourself. You can do it!

Last but not least, don't hold a grudge. Everyone has been hurt in this game in one way or another. I'm sure some of the remaining players want to spit fire at the jurors, but are too afraid to do so at the risk of losing their vote. On the flip side, I'm sure some jurors aren't exactly thrilled with instances that occured with certain contestents. Things happen and feelings get hurt, but now is not the time to pout about it. Suck it up and play the game. It's okay to talk things out, but in this time of emotion, confusion, and irrationality arguing is probably not going to be helpful in any manner. Just remember this-14 of the 16 will essentially be voted off by the end. Ten people have already fallen victim to the ugliness of the game. It's a sucky thing, but it's gotta happen sooner or later. No matter how angry you get, put yourself in your enemies shoes. Did they use strategy in voting you or your friend off? Probably. Were they truly and honestly out to get you ! or your friend? Probably not. Be fair in making judgement. Then again, payback is a bitch. :-D.
